Why Choose Spark Equestrian Academy?
Our lessons are tailored to meet each rider’s individual needs, ensuring they build not only technical skills but also a deep understanding of horsemanship. From mastering basic riding techniques to developing advanced skills, our students gain the knowledge and experience needed to excel. We focus on creating a positive and supportive environment where riders feel encouraged to challenge themselves, take pride in their progress, and develop lasting connections with their equine partners.

In addition to riding instruction, we emphasize character development, responsibility, and teamwork. Through hands-on experiences like horse care, barn management, and group activities, our students learn valuable life skills that extend far beyond the stable. At Spark Equestrian Academy, we’re committed to shaping confident, well-rounded individuals who are equipped to thrive in all areas of life.

CLASSES FOR KIDS
From our Tiny Tots class designed for ages 3-6 to our comprehensive seven-level program for ages 7-17, Spark Equestrian Academy offers something for riders of all ages. Our programs provide a structured yet supportive environment where students can build skills, gain confidence, and continue their training as they grow.

CLASSES FOR ADULTS
For ages 18 and up, we offer both beginner and advanced programs tailored to your skill level. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your riding techniques, this is a fantastic opportunity to Spark Your Passion. Plus, with your kids learning in our other programs, the whole family can enjoy the rewarding experience of riding together!

DAY CAMPS
For ages 6-12, our camps offer a fun and educational experience where students learn the basics of horse grooming, feeding, and care. In addition to hands-on learning, campers enjoy games, crafts, and even making special treats for the horses. During the riding portion, students take turns leading each other while practicing essential skills like walking, steering, and stopping.

WORKSHOPS
Have you always wanted to connect with horses but weren’t sure where to begin? Or perhaps you're a current Spark student looking to boost your confidence and expand your horsemanship skills? Our Horsemanship Clinics are designed for both new and returning riders, as well as those eager to deepen their understanding of horses. These small group workshops can be customized to focus on the skills you’re most interested in, such as catching and haltering a horse in the pasture, understanding herd dynamics and body language, practicing safety in the barn and pasture, saddle and bridle fitting, horse anatomy, grooming, leading, groundwork exercises, and an introduction to lunging. Whether you're just starting or looking to sharpen your skills, our clinics offer a welcoming and educational experience for all riders.
At Spark Equestrian Academy, we welcome riders of all ages and experience levels, from curious beginners to dedicated equestrians looking to advance their skills.
Our Tiny Tots program (ages 3-6) introduces the youngest riders to horses in a fun and supportive environment, perfect for kids who love animals and want to build confidence. For ages 7-17, students develop a strong foundation in horse care, riding techniques, and teamwork through structured lessons and hands-on activities. Adults (18+) can also join us for beginner or advanced lessons, whether they are brand new to riding, returning after time away, or looking to deepen their horsemanship.
Spark Equestrian Academy is a great fit for anyone who wants to build confidence, develop discipline, and experience the joy of working with horses in a supportive and encouraging environment!
